 Parent Advisory Council
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is very active and involved in the school and enjoys good participation by a large number of parents. Much of its success can be attributed to its unique structure.
The PAC has an executive umbrella which is in charge of its general operations. This includes establishing policy and protocol for the dispersal of funds to school groups, responding to the school board on relevant issues, and participating of COPAC (the district parent advisory council) and BCCPAC (the provincial advisory council). General PAC meetings are held on designated Monday evenings each month just prior to Parent Ambassador sessions and any parent/guardian of a MBSS student is always welcome.
The PAC executive for the year will be elected on an annual basis. Positions available are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and COPAC Representative. If you are unable to attend meetings but still wish to participate at the school, volunteers are always needed and greatly appreciated. Leave your name and contact number at the office.
