MBSS Dress Code
DRESS CODE
Mt. Boucherie School sees the classroom as a "place of business". Since there is a direct relationship between dress and behaviour, it is believed that students and staff should dress appropriately for the business / school setting. Appropriate will be defined here as right and correct for the school setting and functions, conducive to learning, not distracting from or disruptive to the learning process, or intimidating to others. Students are asked to avoid dress styles which promote, imitate or celebrate violence, intimidation, racism, sexism, hatred towards others, gang association, sex, or alcohol/drug use.
Students who do not comply with this policy will be required to change into appropriate attire. This expectation applies to both our male and female students.
In addition, footwear must be worn at all times for the student’s own health and safety.
Mt. Boucherie is not a beach! Therefore, please cover your four B’s (backs, bellies, butts and breasts)! Thank you.
