1132010_30205_0.png"Life After High School" Planning

You are planning your next adventure!  Although things might seem overwhelming right now, there are many things that you can do to make this transition easier.  The 'What's Next Guide' is a great resource to use.  All Grade 12's will be given a What's Next Guide during their Grade 12 year.  There is very valuable information in this book about post-secondary schools, scholarships, bursaries, travel, etc. If you have not received one please see Mrs. Maier or Mrs. Gonzales in the Counselling Centre.

Not too sure where to start?  Below are some links to great self assessment websites and career exploration websites.  If you want any further information about a possible career, come into the Career Centre.  Once you have a career that you think might interest you, a great next step is doing a job shadow so that you get some experiential learning in the area. If you continue to scroll down the page you will find links to Post Secondary Institutions and Job Search assistance.

A great website for Education/financing to Employment...check this one out! http://www.youth.gc.ca/
