WOODWORK 10: (TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION 10) -- WOODWK10
Prerequisite: None
An introductory course in woodwork designed to familiarize the student with all wood machine processes and hand-tool use.
Introductory projects will be assigned.

CARPENTRY AND JOINERY 11 -- CARPJOIN11
Prerequisite: Some shop experience      
Required Materials: Imperial tape measure
This course offers an opportunity for skilled woodwork students to design and construct a project of their own choice. All aspects of
machine operation are reviewed through a required project, and advanced techniques are demonstrated and discussed. Previous
woodshop experience is desirable for this course.

CARPENTRY AND JOINERY 12 CARP-- JOIN12
Prerequisite: Carpentry & Joinery 11
An advanced furniture/cabinet-making course. Students will design, draft, and make a minor and a major project.

CARPENTRY AND JOINERY 12 – CABINET CONSTRUCTION -- CABCONST12
Prerequisite: Carpentry and Joinery 12
A continuation of Construction 12. Students are expected to be self-motivated in the woodwork area and should be able to work
independently. Students will design and build a minor and a major project.

CARPENTRY AND JOINERY 12 – RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION -- RESCONST12
Prerequisite: Carpentry and Joinery 12
Students will learn employability skills including, interpreting blue prints, building codes, and other technical materials related to
residential construction. Students will build sheds and small buildings for family and staff.
